Pasé el fin de semana de revisión, el pensamiento y la traducción de toda la gran información de todo el mundo en el foro me ha dado incluyendo las leyes de consumo / regulaciones que Pyro vinculado. Muchas, muchas, muchas gracias a todos.

La lectura de los reglamentos, creo que lo entiendo (¿me equivoco), parece que hay tres opciones para los consumidores: -

1, para la moto que ser reparado adecuadamente en un plazo razonable.
2, una reducción en el precio de compra original.
3, sin costo, el reemplazo de la motocicleta.

Esas son leyes razonables para el consumidor, creo.

¿Puedo pedir al foro una pregunta que Pyro también mencionó, debido a que las regulaciones cambian por otros productos nuevos / usados.

Mi Speedmaster fue comprado "pre-registrados" por el concesionario, pero eso en realidad tienen 0 kilometros en el velocímetro. ¿Cree usted que esto se considera un "nuevo" o motocicleta "usado" para las regulaciones?

Estoy aprendiendo acerca de las leyes ... despacio

I spent the weekend reviewing, thinking and translating all of the great information everyone in the forum has given me including the consumer laws/regulations that Pyro linked to. Many, many, many thanks to everyone.

Reading the regulations, I think I understand ( am I right ), there seems to be three options for consumers:-

1, for the bike to be repaired properly in a reasonable time.
2, a reduction in the original purchase price.
3, no cost, replacement of the motorcycle.

Those are reasonable laws for the consumer, I think.

Can I ask the forum a question that Pyro also mentioned, because the regulations change for new/used goods.

My Speedmaster was purchased 'pre-registered' by the dealer, but it did actually have 0km on the speedometer. Do you think that this is considered a 'new' or 'used' motorcycle for the regulations?

I suppose that if motorbike is new or used it should put in the contract. Also if the price that you paied for it is the price as new motorbike, and it dont put new or used, I understand that it is new.

Now the price is 8.995,00 € PVPR (Recomended price to sell) and this is without traffic license plate, traffic taxes, and other cost such as documents managing, extras...

Yo creo que en este caso no tiene importancia si la moto es nueva o no. Me explico. Tú compraste la moto siendo km 0, pero la moto tiene dos años de garantía oficial desde la fecha de matriculación. Por eso, si todavía no han pasado dos años desde esa fecha, está dentro del periodo de garantía oficial, por lo que debe estar cubierta como si fuera moto nueva. Es mi opinión.

I think in this case does not matter if the bike is new or not. Let me explain. You bought the bike being 0 km, but the bike is two years official guarantee from the date of enrollment. So if two years have not yet passed since that date is within the official warranty period, so you should be covered like new bike. It is my opinion.

Hi Pyro & Humphre y, thank you for your advice.

Something I wouldn't complain about is the original price I paid. I negotiated 7.500,00 € including registration and delivery to Alicante from Madrid for cash, but even that is not good if the bike is defective. In almost one year, I have only ridden it for 5.000km because of the faults.

Triumph España have said they will let me know if they have rectified the faults today (after 6 weeks off the road!). I will let the forum know how it progresses.

I really wish to get on with riding again, it is not good to have no bike when the sun is shining.

Algo que no me quejaría es el precio original que pagué. Negocié 7.500,00 € incluyendo el registro y la entrega a Alicante desde Madrid por dinero en efectivo, pero incluso eso no es bueno si la moto es defectuoso. En casi un año, yo sólo lo he montado para 5,000 kilometros debido a las fallas.

Triumph España han dicho que van a dejar que me haga saber si se han subsanado los defectos de hoy (después de 6 semanas de la carretera!). Voy a dejar el foro saber cómo progresa.

Realmente deseo de seguir adelante con el montar de nuevo, no es bueno tener ninguna bicicleta cuando el sol está brillando.

First of all, I am really sorry for what happened to your wife.

But glad to see that, apparently, Triumph is finally doing it's job.

And let me tell you two more things (just for laughs).

- I'm afraid Google is translating bike as bicycle, instead of motorbike, so is kind of weird to read, in spanish, that "it is not good to have no bicycle when the sun is shining"

- More on this sentence, it is totally unfair for some of us, northern people, to read about "when the sun is shining" after several days of cold, rain, strong winds, even snow overhere

Thanks for the laughs , I needed that.

I think at this time I would settle for a bicycle . Sorry you haven't had much sun yet, no doubt you'll be better off than us southies when mid summer comes.

Sorry to say, but Triumph aren't getting any better. Got an e-mail from then this afternoon and it just boils down to they have done some test rides and can't find the fault. They give absolutely no mention to why the MIL error light came on, they just confirm there was two DTC's recorded with no explanation.

All they have said is that I can pick up the moto or they will deliver it.

There are a couple of guy's on the RAT forum that have had exactly the same things with Triumph (USA I think) and it seems as though they are implying customers are liars!, this seems to be the way they are treating me. Problem is they won't come out and say it... at least we could all move on and try to understand why they are like this... I'm lost with their bad logic and BS.
