Protesta por el cierre de la fabrica en Mandello
Hola a todos, acabo de recibir un correo del amigo Goffredo de Anima Guzzista, la situación de la fabrica de Moto Guzzi en Mandello es muy grave, quien quiera ayudar puede seguir las instrucciones del mensaje (lo he traducido y espero que se entienda bien...). Quien quiera puede firmar la petición en el link abajo (por cierto, lo de la pequeña donación final a ipetitions no tiene nada a que ver con esta iniciativa, así que mejor ignorarlo... )

Soy Goffredo de Anima Guzzista y os escribo preocupado por la difícil situación de Moto Guzzi.
¡Esta vez es muy serio!
Os ahorraré el blah-blah político pero la simple verdad es que los actuales propietarios estan desmantelando la Fábrica de Moto Guzzi en Mandello del Lario.
En la actualidad la supervivencia misma de Moto Guzzi es muy incierta y los propietarios estan en realidad vaciando la fábrica para transferir la entera producción a otras instalaciones del grupo Piaggio, dejando solamente una vacía fachada representativa en Mandello. Después de casi un siglo, el 57 de Vía Parodi ya no será la casa de Moto Guzzi. La técnica es clásica detrás de la etiqueta "de reorganización" "y optimización" han recortado a la mitad a la mano de obra, y ahora está todo listo para el golpe final vaciando completamente los locale historicos de Mandello. Este plan se inició hace casi dos años y ahora esta en su fase final. Los trabajadores estan en una situación de constante pesadilla.
¡Esto no puede pasar en silencio! Moto Guzzi debe seguir existiendo, y hacerlo en el sitio donde pertenece.
Este sábado, 19 de septiembre, tendrá lugar una Reunión Internacional para apoyar a los trabajadores de Moto Guzzi en Mandello del Lario donde se esperan a miles de motociclistas.
Los motociclistas de Francia mostrarán su apoyo concentrandose en París durante el mismo día.
¡Pedimos a todos los amigos de Moto Guzzi en todo el mundo de mostrar su apoyo!

El Alcalde de Mandello se pondrá en contacto con nosotros para mostrar como el apoyo a Moto Guzzi es a nivel internacional. Será importante transmitirles que, como signo de apoyo, el símbolo de la concentración (mirar el link debajo) es mostrado por todo el mundo, de Australia a EU.

Dear Guzzi Friends
This is Goffredo from Anima Guzzista and I writing to you concerning the difficult situation of Moto Guzzi.
This time is very serious!
I will spare you the political blah-blah but the simple truth is that the actual owners are slowly killing the Moto Guzzi Factory in Mandello.
At present the very survival of Moto Guzzi has become very uncertain as the company ownership is actually emptying the factory in order to transfer the whole production to other premises of the Piaggio group, leaving just a representative empty facade in Mandello. After almost one century, the 57 at Via Parodi no longer will be the house of Moto Guzzi.
The technique is a classical behind the tag of "reorganisation" and "optimization" they have cut in half the work force, and are now ready for the final hit and emptying completely the site.
The redundancy plan has been in place for two years almost continually now. The workers are facing a constant nightmare.
This cannot happen in silence! Moto Guzzi must continue its existence, and to do so it must remain where it belongs.
This Saturday, 19th September, there will be an International Rally to support the workers of Moto Guzzi in Mandello del Lario where thousands of motorcyclists will attend.
Motorcyclists from France will show their support gathering in Paris on the same day.
We ask to all the friends of Moto Guzzi worldwide to show their support!
This is how you can help
during the rally, I will be in connection via phone or skype from Paris with the rally in Mandello. The Mayor of Mandello will contact us to show how the support to Moto Guzzi is international.
It will be great to tell them that, as a sign of support, the symbol of the rally (see the link below) is displayed worldwide, from Australia to the US.
So print out the attached symbol of the rally and take a picture of yourself holding it! Then send me back your message with the picture attached!
We will than show the picture and list all the Guzzi friends worldwide during the rally.
Please help Moto Guzzi survive. Act now!
