70s early Heavy Metal Stoner Doom from Heavy Goods Vehicle, this time light on the Doom. OK, I know, it's only Rock n Roll, but I like it. Recorded in the summer of 1976. HGV were Colin Cookson (drums), Mal Fuller (bass and screaming), and Dave Smith (guitar, vocals). The video's about Cafe Racing, and Cafe Racers. A popular route for the race was from the Ace Cafe on The North Circular road in NW London to the Hanger Lane junction and back again. There was one famous weekend when 3 racers crashed into the Iron Bridge and died. You put a coin in a dukebox and first one back before the song ends wins. A short song meant you had to top a ton. The bikes were customised, often a Triumph engine in a Norton frame, the bikes were pushed to their limits, the riders were nutters. Ha!
(seguro que Barry nos hace una excelente traducción de este material, verdad?)
